ON THE PROPOSED FINANCING BY GARRATTSVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT
Notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of New Lisbon, Otsego County and State of New York, will meet on July 9, 2015 at 7:30 PM at the Town of New Lisbon Town Hall, for the purpose of holding a public hearing pursuant to the requirements of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, on a proposal that NBT Bank, N.A. (hereinafter, “the Issuer”) enter into an agreement with the Garrattsville Fire Department in order to finance certain equipment being purchased by the Garrattsville Fire Department. The equipment to be financed consists of a custom built pumper truck, and will be owned by and located at the Garrattsville Fire Department.
To finance the costs of such equipment and to pay costs and expenses incidental to the financing, “the Issuer” proposes to enter into a loan agreement with the Garrattsville Fire Department in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $250,000.00. The payments due pursuant to the loan agreement will be secured by a security interest in the equipment.
All persons interested may appear and be heard at said time and place or may file written comments with the Town of New Lisbon prior to the date of hearing set forth heretofore.
