Notice is hereby given that the Annual Financial Report to the State Comptroller for the fiscal year 2014 for the Town of New Lisbon has been completed and is on file in the Town Clerk’s Office where it is available for inspection by any interested person.

The Public Service Commission is accepting applications for adding another electric transmission line from Upstate to Downstate. North America Transmission (NAT) is proposing one to run along the existing Marcy-South powerline (Edic to Fraser) which would run through Otsego County including the Town of New Lisbon. Otsego County Conservation Association is studying how this line would impact our County. If you have any interest, comments or concerns on this issue, please complete the attached questionnaire (link below) and return it to OCCA.
Lunch meals for seniors (age 60 and older) are held the Third & Fourth Wednesday at 12:00 Noon at the New Lisbon Town Hall. If you want to attend you must call 547-6454 at least the day before to register. The suggested donation for the meal is $3.50. All seniors are welcome.
Presently in the Town of New Lisbon residents must either hire a waste hauler for their trash & recyclables or take them themselves to the Oneonta or Cooperstown transfer stations. Continue reading
